It looked like the weather was going to beat them but fair play to both teams, they stuck at it and we managed to get a full game in with some fantastic cricket on show.

Hyde won the toss and elected bowl first.

James Leah and Daniel Beese opened the batting and started off really well and put on 42 before Leah was caught in the deep (22). Next in Charlie speakman who managed to keep the score box ticking rotating the strike whilst Beese smashed it to all parts of the ground, Finally retiring on 40 after a fantastic knock. Speakman finished on 19 and Josh Kay 12 not out. Innings finished on 107 / 3

Woodleys bowling kept Hyde to 77 for 7 after their 20overs.

All 11 players were fantastic today. Great to see the new boys fitting in nicely and all the lads enjoying their cricket.
